A Move of the Spirit - Moving Ministry Moving can be one of the least pleasant tasks in life, and it can be impossible to move without help if there's heavy furniture involved and your vehicle is a Mini Cooper. Helping people move is a frequent need among our body, and is a way that brothers and sisters in Christ can join together to bear one another's burdens quite literally. People with large vehicles and strong bodies can be a great help, but people with organizational skills and patience for packing are equally useful. If you're willing, there is a place for you! By signing up to be included in the "Move of the Spirit" database, you're merely agreeing to be advised when there is a need and asked if you're available to help, that's all; you're not committing to anything more than this. As specific needs arise, you can evaluate your availability and willingness to help. If you are in need of some help with an upcoming move please contact Mark Kirch at 379-6213. |

Act Six Ministry "In those days when the number of disciples was increasing, the Grecian Jews among them complained against the Hebraic Jews because their widows were being overlooked in the daily distribution of food. So the Twelve gathered all the disciples together and said, "It would not be right for us to neglect the ministry of the word of God in order to wait on tables. Brothers, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will turn this responsibility over to them and will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word." Acts 6:1-4 Act Six Ministry is about teams of men who assist our single, single again and/or widowed women of our church with maintenance items be it their car or home. Men, if you are interested in being a part of the team, or for more information, please contact Dan Bosko at 925-7828. |

Ask, Seek and Knock "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2Chronicles 7:13 The purpose of A.S.K. (Ask, Seek, and Knock ministry) is to call us together as a church family to pray each month for a 24 hour period, asking God to move in our individual lives and church family in a mighty way! We hope to pray in unity, using scripture as the foundation for what we ask, to call upon Him to fulfill His purposes for us. We desire for Him to make us more like Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit made manifest in our lives! We will focus on a different topic each month such as our faith, forgiveness, healing, etc. Please join us! For more information, please contact Robin Galambos at 544-0823. |
