Act Six Ministry
"In those days when the number of disciples was increasing, the Grecian Jews among them complained against the Hebraic Jews because their widows were being overlooked in the daily distribution of food. So the Twelve gathered all the disciples together and said, "It would not be right for us to neglect the ministry of the word of God in order to wait on tables. Brothers, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will turn this responsibility over to them and will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word." Acts 6:1-4 Act Six Ministry is about teams of men who assist our single, single again and/or widowed women of our church with maintenance items be it their car or home. Men, please email our leader if you are interested in being a part of a team.

Lisa LeMay leads the group on Beth Moore's "Believing God" series. This is a time of digging into God's Word, really figuring out what it means to live under His promises and in His Kingdom NOW and also experience friendship and soul connections with one another as we learn together. This study helps us to explore what it means to know and truly believe God by examining the lives of Abraham, Moses and others who "believed God", encouraging us to deepen our own trust in God."

Women's Thursday AM Study
Group is studying "Discerning the Voice of God" by Priscilla Shirer. Studying the Word of God heightens our spiritual senses to hear the still small voice of God and helps us recognize the promptings of the Holy Spirit. From the Old Testament prophets to modern day believers, noted author and speaker Priscilla Shirer walks the reader through Scripture that captures the method and tone of God's communication and teaches the reader to beware of counterfeit voices, how in each encounter God's voice may differ, but the nature of it does not. Sound's good, doesn't it? Childcare is provided. For more information, please contact Myra O'Brien at 925-2269.
